for presenters:
Oral Presentation:
Please bring your presentation on an USB-Stick
or CD.
The lecture room will be equipped with Windows-PC (XP/Office2003).
(overhead projection is available on request).
It is essential to load and view the presentation at
least two hours prior to the start of your presentation to check the
compatibility with the technician in the lecture room. Information
will be given at the registration desk.
Poster Presentation:
The usable surface of the poster panel measures:
130 cm in height x 90 cm in width.
Pins will be provided onsite.
Your poster will be on display throughout the meeting.
The posters are put up in the entrance area of the
lecture hall centre and will be presented by the authors during a
poster walk. Different groups of congress participants headed
by a moderator are lead to different poster groups which are arranged
according to the poster languages. In order to enable discussion and
interaction with other participants, each author is requested to be
at the poster board during the poster walk giving a brief outline
of his poster (2-3 minutes).

If you are not able to present your talk or your poster
for any reason, you are kindly requested to contact the organising
office (39ichp@medacad.org)
immediately and to notify them of any change of presenter or withdrawal.
The best three posters will be selected and awarded
during the closing ceremony of the congress.
The deadline for Abstract Submission has been extended until April
17
We kindly
ask you to send the abstracts of the short lectures and posters by
April 17, 2009 at the latest to the e-mail address given below.

We cannot
accept any abstract submitted by fax. We shall send you a reply about
the acceptance by e-mail. All accepted abstracts will be published
in the abstract book. The abstract should be submitted according to
the example.

We would
like to draw your attention to the fact that the language of the oral
presentation or the poster has to be the same language than the one
chosen for the submitted abstract (German, English or French).
Please,
specify in your e-mail message the type of your presentation (short
lecture or poster) and the required audiovisual equipment (overhead
projector, slide projector or data projector). |
