EQUIPMENT
The sessions for oral presentations will be equipped with overhead
projectors, slide projectors and data projectors for Power Point presentations.
CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE
Certificates regarding your participation at the congress may be collected
from the registration desks.
CURRENCY
The Austrian currency is Euro (€).

INSURANCE
Please, obtain your own travel and health insurance. By registering
for the 39th International Congress for the History of Pharmacy, the
participants agree that neither the Organising Committee nor the Congress
Secretariat assume any liability whatsoever. The organisers accept
liability neither for accidents nor for loss or damage of property
or persons during the congress.
LANGUAGES
The official languages at the congress are German, English and French.
All short lectures are requested to be held in one of the three official
languages. Similarly, posters are only accepted if one of the three
official languages is used for the script.
SHORT LECTURES AND POSTERS
Short lectures and posters related to the topic of the congress "REMEDY
AND SOCIETY" are welcomed. Your short lecture should not exceed
10 minutes in length followed by a 5 minute discussion. Please, bring
your Power Point presentations either on CD-ROM or on a USB memory
stick. You will not be able to use your private computer.
The size of the poster should not exceed 130 cm in height and 90 cm
in width.
VISA
We advise participants who need a visa to enter Austria to contact
the Austrian embassy or consulate in their home country in good time
about the current visa regulations. The Congress Secretariat can issue
the necessary invitation letters on demand. |
